This course will cover the evolution of fashion and the relationships between fashion industry sectors. We will dive into the different segments of business from Women's, Kids, Men's, Accessories, and Home. We will discuss in depth the history of fashion from the Industrial Revolution to 2024. We will dive into present day fashion trends and industry shifts, such as sustainability and online shopping. Upon successful completion of this course, the students will better understand the evolution of the history of fashion and describe the formation, structure, and operation of the fashion business. Years of Professor Gordon's personal interviews with industry guests support the lectures.

James Pagliasotti
James Pagliasottia's expertise is experiential rather than academic. At 23, Pagliasottia became the first rock music columnist for The Denver Post and subsequently a stringer for Rolling Stone magazine. With press credentials and a backstage pass at the birthing of the Classic Era of Rock Music, he witnessed the events that not only changed media and the music business permanently but also had a profound effect on the social order.
