Building on a class offered in fall of 2024, this class will continue to explore film music, a hugely creative medium that greatly adds to the experience of watching film. It will include some composers from the "golden era" of film music not previously covered, but will include more recent composers such as Ennio Morricone, Alexandre Desplat, and Thomas Newman to show how film music has developed over time and illustrate the amazing mix of styles it encompasses. There will be film clips presented in class, in addition to sources students can pursue on their own.
Fee: $0.00
