The Hebrew bible is not only the basis of all three monotheistic religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam but is also the founding block of what we call the Western Culture. In this course, we will uncover and discuss many revolutionary ideas that originated with the Bible, from its push towards monotheism, through social structure for society and establishing a day of rest every 6 days. The course will be loosely based on the book "The Bible: A Divine Revolution" by Prof. Yair Zakovitch (in Hebrew)
