Palliative and Hospice Care: Professional Processes and Personal Perspectives

One of the most globally taboo but shared experiences, is that of dying and death. Palliative and hospice care are designed to support and advocate for patients and their care partners as they live with serious illnesses, including navigating the dying process and bereavement support. This is one of the most challenging times of life, but many misconceptions and myths exist about palliative and hospice care that can prevent people receiving the care they want as they approach the end of their lives. This six-week seminar series provides a deeper dive into some of the topics people grapple with, along with the opportunity to reflect with subject matter experts and community members. on some of the bigger questions they raise.
