Sig Libowitz

Libowitz is an award-winning filmmaker, producer, writer, actor, entertainment attorney, and former Hollywood studio executive. He wrote and produced The Response, which was shortlisted for an Academy Award (Best Short Film, Live Action) and won the American Bar Association's Silver Gavel Award as Best of the Year in Drama and Literature. Libowitz also produced and served as legal counsel for At Middleton, a feature romantic comedy starring Academy Award nominees Andy Garcia and Vera Farmiga. He was the Executive-in-Charge of Production for In the Bedroom, starring Sissy Spacek and Marisa Tomei, which was nominated for five Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Screenplay (Adapted). Libowitz served as the Vice President of Acquisitions and Co-Productions at Paramount Classics, Director of Production at Film Four (based at Warner Brothers), and Production Executive at Good Machine (now Focus Features).
