Classical music is replete with composers who lived short lives, but who were incredibly productive in the time they spent on earth. In 35 years, Mozart left us over 600 pieces and in 31 years Schubert wrote over 1000. Other short-lived composers like Gershwin, Schumann, Purcell, and Chopin were incredibly influential despite the fact that none lived more than 50 years. Come and explore the lives of these masters and how they managed to achieve so much is so little time.
