Prolific book blogger Deborah Kalb, who's been interviewing authors since 2012, will bring her Q&As to the classroom. A novelist herself, Kalb will sit down with a series of local novelists and discuss their work, their writing process, and their views on the world of fiction today. A former journalist and author of both fiction for adults and kids and nonfiction for adults, Kalb will bring the students into the discussion as well, with plenty of opportunities for students to ask questions of the guest authors.

Deborah Susan Kalb
Deborah Kalb is the author of the novel Off to Join the Circus, her debut novel for adults. She has written fiction for kids and nonfiction for adults, and she’s the host of the blog Book Q&As with Deborah Kalb and the co-host of the new podcast Rereading Our Childhood. A former longtime D.C.-based journalist covering Congress and politics, she lives in the Washington, D.C., area.
