Faculty Orientation

Welcome to the Spring 2025 semester. To support you in preparing, we offer a Faculty Orientation meeting which covers background on Osher at JHU and the usual administrative information-everything from set up in your classroom, to how to share materials with your class members and a review of our evaluation process. We've added a section called Best Practices for Teaching the Osher at JHU Audience.
Osher instructors differ widely in their teaching backgrounds. Whatever your level of experience with older learners, there are practices that contribute to a positive experience. This presentation addresses common concerns our members express on their evaluations each semester. You'll be invited to share any particular strategies that work for you as well.

You are registered for the evening orientation 7-8 p.m.
