Slow Read Poetry Series: The Bob Dylan Seminar

In this six-week class, we will pose the question: Did Bob Dylan deserve to win the Nobel Prize in Literature? To answer this question, we will investigate the events of his life, his lyrics as poetry, and his musical genius. In weekly sessions of multimedia presentations and close readings, we will work our way through songs together in class, generate lively discussions, and (no doubt) go down some shared research rabbit holes.
