Bio

Alexander J. Zarzecki was born and raised in Baltimore, attending the Gilman School. He graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2012 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland College Park. Alex practices at Frank, Frank & Scherr, LLC and focuses his practice on estate and special needs planning, trust administration, guardianship and Medical Assistance planning. Mr. Zarzecki is currently an adjunct Professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law, co-teaching a course on Elder Law with Jason Frank.

Previously, Alex guest-lectured at the University of Maryland Law School, the University of Baltimore School of Law, and at Towson University. Alex also regularly speaks at local senior centers on estate and special needs planning. Mr. Zarzecki is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Special Needs Alliance (affiliate member), the Maryland State Bar Association, the Baltimore County Bar Association, and the Baltimore County Provider Council. Alex attained the accreditation of Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) from the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF) in 2019.
